My condolences go out to the family of Fr. Ron. I hold fond memories of him while being an altar server at St. Anne's in Tecmseh and while he was there from 1965 to 70. As well, he was most interesting when he would visit the classroom... He had a great memory for names. addresses and phone numbers and he could point out many students and relay these particulars. He was a frequent visitor to our home, where I grew up at the Marcotte Funeral Home in Tecumseh. He would sometimes head directly to the liquor cupboard before it was determined that we had a visitor.
Fr. Paquette has remained as a member of Fr. Nicholas Point Council 4375 Knights of Columbus. As a current Past Grand Knight of the council and District Deputy in the Tecumseh and Windsor area, please accept the condolences of all who remember him from the knights.
