I am so very sorry Bernard had to leave this world for his wife Doreen, family, relatives and all those who knew and loved him. It is very hard to let go of someone so dear even if it is best due to suffering. He was an intelligent, great and wonderful man who paid attention to others and you can see that as he had a big heart and through his dear wife Doreen and loving charismatic family. Each one of kids has a part of his good nature, wisdom, respect for life and the enjoyment of others around them. It is a blessing to be in their presence. Bernard will be sorely missed by all, but never forgotten. Love Kim Garant Ouellette Sweet. (My Late Mother, Lucille Donais Garant, sister to Doreen & Sister in law to the wonderful, gentle man, Bernard...May he rest in peace.

Dear Aunt Doreen and family,
Heartfelt and sincere condolences are expressed for all of you with the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather, friend . . .
Memories of Uncle Bernard bring a slow and simple smile to mind.
I remember Uncle Bernard as quiet and busy—away in the office room or fields, working. Whenever there was a gathering, or dinners shared by all, Uncle Bernard usually didn’t say much. However, when he had something to say—he said it; and he had a sense of humour too. A good man, respected, loved and admired—that was Uncle Bernard.
He will be missed, but moreover he will always be loved and remembered!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
Catherine Gibson (nee Donais)
