Deep Sympathy to Maxine's Family. Maxine will be missed and thought of by many for many years to come. We have had many different talks through the years on many subjects. I remember amazing Maxine I knew many things of fixing thngs with tools as she did as a woman she never met to many of us, we had a Great talk one day on that subject. Political talks too. And many things for the History of our world and Tilbury. Showing us all that she had stored at the library to hopefully one day display. Maxine never to be forgotten.

This is most certainly a loss for Tilbury to recover from. She was more than a librarian and civil servant. To those who went to school at St. Francis or St. Joseph's school(s) and T.A.P.S., she was an institution all by herself.
My condolences and prayers for her family, and for my fellow Tilburians who will miss her.

I was so saddened to read of Maxine's passing. I had an after school job at the Tilbury library from 1978-81 and spent many happy days working with her. She took such great pride in the operation of the library and I always admired her organization, resourcefulness, kindness and willingness to share her time and knowledge with anyone who needed assistance. My sympathies are with her entire family.

Shirley, Joyce, Pat, Rick and family extending our deepest sympathy your loss.
I will always remember Maxine giving us her views of the world as we sat on the stairs in the kitchen at your parent's home on Maple Street. Priceless memories!
May you find peace with all you have endured together in the days the lie ahead.

Such a great loss to your family...and a great loss to the people of Tilbury also. She was involved in so many things.
Terry and I and our family have been backyard neighbours for 20 years. We all have shared so many conversations over the years standing at the fence...laughing at what we came out to do and how we got carried away chatting about everything under the sun.
Maxine watched our kids (Brienna and Tyler)grow up into young adults. She was nothing but encouraging...always asking them and us how things were going.
As an artist we saw her talents as she drew a little Beagle (our dog Pepper)and gave us a print along with a few other prints we admired that we will cherish.
Thanks for all the memories Maxine and our sincere condolences to all the family.

I want to express me deepest sympathy to the family of the passing of Maxine. I have known Maxine since I was nine years old when I started going to the library. She was always so kind and would go out of her way to assist me when I needed to locate a certain book. She was a very fantastic lady. R.I.P., Maxine. We will meet again.
