Obituary of Andrew Elias Kreitzer

KREITZER, Andrew Elias

Born June 20,1954 to parents Andrew Kreitzer Sr. and Lillian Kreitzer (Vegh). Andrew passed away peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on October 21, 2023 at 1:00 am. He is survived by his wife and long time love of his life Pamela Kreitzer (McRitchie) and loving daughter Katy Kreitzer (Wael) aka Angel Eyes. As well as his bonus children Dennis Kreitzer (Wilberth), Kristy Kreitzer (Shawn), and Kerilyn Kreitzer (Mark). He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren who viewed him as a father Alexa (Cody) and Riley. As well as his other younger grandchildren Lily, Ayvree, Jaxyn, Zayne, Tristyn, Cameron, and Lina. He will be happily reunited with his granddaughter Lainey Bug up in heaven and deeply missed by his great grandchildren Aleeyah and Elias.

Andy was an inspirational man, a loving husband and father, and an adoring grandfather. He was much too cool to be called grandfather so the children referred to him as Papadee. A name unique to only him just how he liked. He spent years in his father's footsteps as a machinist and had a love of fishing, his family and acting silly.

He is survived by his brothers Dave Kreitzer (Sonny), Tim Kreitzer (Diane) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. He will be joining his brother Dennis Kreitzer (Bev), with his parents in the loving arms of God.

A beautiful light has burnt out in the Kreitzer family with Andy's passing, and a spark of humour has been lost amongst his friends. He always kept everyone smiling and laughing until the very end.

Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal Street West, Tilbury, on Tuesday, October 24 from 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 25 from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m.  Funeral Service to commence at 2:00 p.m. with Interment to follow at McDowell Cemetery, Comber.  In lieu of flowers donations to Ronald McDonald House https://www.rmhc-swo.ca/donate/donate-now appreciated.
