Missing you Dad....
You were not just my father, but you were my best friend.
Words cannot explain the great loss our family has now that you have moved on to heaven. We are grateful you are not suffering anymore, but we miss everything about you.
You were a great listener, you always had amazing advice, and you were a kind gentleman, and we always looked up to you.
Thank you for everything you did for our family....you provided an amazing life for our family....you taught us to work hard and always do the right thing, as well as to be kind to others.
Our lives will never be the same without you dad.
We will make sure to take care of Mom for you.
Please continue to guide us from heaven.

Dear Paul,
My loving husband, best friend and lover of 59 years....We had a wonderful life together. We worked together for 37 years. We had three wonderful children, that we both loved and were very proud of, as well as our grandchildren and great grandchildren. We had a great life together. We enjoyed our beautiful sunsets at Lighthouse cove, and we were fortunate enough to live in our dream home in Florida during the winters.
I will miss you in every way; our walks together, our bike rides and dancing the nights away, and our competitive golf scores. Life will never be the same for me. I will miss you each and every day. We will meet again some day in eternity.
Your loving wife, Carmel

DAD, you were my role model and best friend. What I will miss the most is hearing your voicemails, “Greg, it’s just your DAD” and then a click.
DAD, thank you for everything, I will always love you and most importantly for being “just my” DAD!
DAD, your guiding hands will be on my shoulders forever.

Dear Papa Paul,
You always dyed and cut our hair and made us play fair. You took us on trips like Disney land, and let us dig to China in your Sand.
One of our most favourite places in entire the world was a place along Melody Drive; you always gave us the encouragement and confidence to excel and thrive.
To beautiful summer days at the lighthouse cove where we swam and dove. To playing on the beach with dead fish bones, then off to the corner store where you would buy us ice cream cones.
What more could you ask for?
A nice life, wife and the lakefront view.
Stood on the green, just me and you.
Always a role model. Warm weather all year.
Memories of Florida sun. Wish you were still here. Couldn’t ask for more.
Papa Paul I always loved when you took me to hit a bucket of balls.
But what I loved most of all, was how you stuck by my side through it all.
$2 for every soccer goal, $1 for every assist. If only I could trade it all for one last hug and kiss.
Sorry papa for not eating my crust, you were always someone I could trust. Florida will never be the same without you. Just know how much I truly love you.
You had dance moves for days, I will always cherish our family Holidays
Last but not least you where determined to make it to my first birthday party when you where sick. Unfortunately I won’t remember much but at least we got some pics
Although you are gone, we will always be together,
Your spirit will live on in each one of us forever.
Love All
Your Grandchildren the lives that you created

My father-in-law, Paul, worked as a hairstylist with my mother-in-law Carmel for 37 years in their own salon on Mainstreet in Tilbury. We all know that working with a spouse takes a great deal of patience and acceptance, and they both were amazing at what they did. Paul especially made thousands of customers gorgeous and smile every single day of those 37 years, including me.
They both were gifted a wonderful retirement and enjoyed many months in Florida with their family who visited and also with so many Canadian and American friends. He was always so excited when it was time to head south, and I'm very grateful that our family had so many opportunities to spend time in his tropical paradise.
Unfortunately, over the past 8 months, Paul's suffered with declining health due to his pancreatic cancer but he found the strength to have an incredible last dance with his beloved Carmel on New Year's Day. I am deeply saddened that we have lost our precious Paul, but we have to learn to live life differently without him. Paul Belanger is now at peace in his new paradise watching over all of us.

Dear Carmel and family we are truly sorry for your loss of a husband and father.
We remember with great fondness of the Christmas gatherings with mother and dad in Staples as well as travelling to wedding receptions in Leamington, Tilbury and Windsor and to your participation at our wedding in Montreal.
We also enjoyed boating with you, Bulent and mother and dad on Lake St Clair when you had your boat.
It also gave us great pleasure visiting with you in Florida and to your stop over when travelling to and from Tilbury.
Your children did a commendable job of honouring their father at his funeral mass.
Both you and he should be proud.
