The family wishes to announce the passing of Jim, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday July 22, 2020, at 92 years of age. Beloved husband of Annette (nee Papineau) for 54 years. Loving father of Evelyn Leboeuf, Paul (Janice) Leboeuf, Yvette (Randy) Tetzlaff, Monique (Kirk) Oltrop, and Pauline (Chuck) Campbell. Devoted Pépé of Bryna, Morgan, and Jordan Tetzlaff, Reese and Payne Oltrop, Gavin and Janelle Campbell. Son of the late Thomas and Marie Elizabeth Leboeuf. Dear brother of Raymond (1972)(surviving wife Leona Hope), Bernadette (2003) (late Wayne) Harris, Margaret (2010) (late Bert) Greenacre, Lawrence (1988) (late Shirley), Rene (2013) (late Marguerite), Henrietta (late Tom) Lemieux, Monique (2011) (late Harry) Lemieux, Catherine (2002) (late Les) Baughman, Romeo (2010) (surviving wife Joan), and Charles (late Rena). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. As a lifetime resident of Tilbury, Jim left his mark in the buildings that he built, the trees he planted, and the lives he touched. He was a lifelong member of the Tilbury Knights of Columbus. One of the highlights of his day was to visit the town coffee shops. All are welcome to visitation, held at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal W. St., Tilbury, on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Please note, due to COVID-19 you must have a scheduled time for visitation. Please call 519-682-0110 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to schedule a visitation time. Masks must be worn at all times and we ask that you remain in your vehicle until your scheduled time. A private family Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at St. Francis Xavier Church with Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. The funeral procession will proceed with a horse drawn carriage, from St. Francis Xavier Church, to Dupuis Street, over to Bond Street, to Queen St. South, passed the subdivision he developed, the home he was born in and the house he built for his family, to the Cemetery shortly after 12 noon, if anyone wishes to watch the procession.
