Obituary of Gilbert Fleury

FLEURY, Gilbert 85 years, of St. Joachim, passed away on Sunday February 16, 2020 at Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus. Beloved husband of Jeannette (nee Hamlin) and the late Bernadine (nee Mayhew). Loving father of Sandra (Richard) Reaume, David (Anne-Marie) Fleury, and step-children Tina (Guy) Robertson, and Tricia (Brad) Malone. Devoted pepe of Steven Reaume, Stephanie (Kelcey) Kucharski, and Tyler Fleury. Proud great-pepe of Liam and Aiden Kucharski. Dear brother of late Dorothy Alexander, late Victor Fleury, late Howard (surviving wife Carol) Fleury, Paul (Mary) Fleury, Late Robert, late Noe, late Helen (surviving husband Richard) Reaume, late Doreen Remple, Adelore (Annette) Fleury, Edgar (Betty) Fleury, Isidore (Linda) Fleury, and Clifford Fleury. Also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Gilbert was a long time employee of Fauteux Building Supplies, a proud member of the Tilbury Police Dept. for 10 years, and an employee of Rene Blain Trucking. He was past Grand Knight and life long member of the Knights of Columbus. Gilbert also enjoyed many years camping at Camper's Cove. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Knights of Columbus Prayers at 8 p.m. A brief visitation on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 10-10:45 a.m., followed by funeral service at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury.
