Obituary of Orise Blain-Torrie

91 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, December 16, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Leo Blain and James Torrie. Loving mother of Yvonne and husband Raymond Decaire of Comber, Doreen and husband Joe Rooney of Belle River, and step-mother of the late Pat and surviving husband Ken Spence of Kent Bridge, and the late Jim Torrie and surviving wife Lucie of Rondeau Park. Dearest grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Isaac Marchand (1964) and Adeline (Thibert) Marchand (1974). Dear sister of the late Nelson Marchand (1987), Thomas Marchand (1933), Moses Marchand (2010), Alice Duquette (1995), and Blanche Walker (2009) (surviving husband Lloyd Walker of LaSalle). Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. St. Francis Xavier Catholic Women’s League prayers 2 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers 8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service from the funeral home Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10 a.m., then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
