Obituary of Don Lebert

LEBERT, Donald Eugene

October 6, 1931 - November 10, 2019

Donald passed away after 88 years of living a full life of happiness and adventure, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2019.  Cherished husband of Helene Marguerite Lebert (nee Seguin) of 37 years.  Son of the late Ernest and Isabelle Lebert (nee Dahl).  Father of Larry (Robin), Debra, Sherry (John), Brenda (Frank), Mark, Kevin (Angie), and Donald Jr. and added family; Christine (Gary) Deborah, Michael, Denise, James (Wendy), and Jennifer (Ken).  Special grandfather of 75 plus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Viola (late Si), late Adrian, late Lawrence (surviving Helen), and late Doreen (late Armand).  He will be missed by his wife's siblings,  and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.  Don loved spending time with family, camping, fishing, playing, cards (euchre), attending Spitfire games, travelling, snowmobiling, and boating.  He was a member of IBEW Local 773, and a long time resident of the Lighthouse Cove.  The grandchildren remember their grandfather as the guy that would; wrestle with them , teach them to fish, go boating, attend their hockey games, and have sleepovers.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  (Note there will be no visitation prior to Mass).  Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Windsor Essex County Children's Aid Society, Alzheimers Society, or Memorial Mass appreciated.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
