COMARTIN, Lucille (nee Damphouse)
It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lucille, 81 years, of Stoney Point, on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Erie Shores Health Care, Leamington. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Comartin (2018). Loving mother of Pauline (Rick) Lefaive and Roger Comartin (Joyce Williamson). Cherished Mémé of Erin (Corey) Quesnel, Alayna (Jason) Munn, Alexis Comartin (Dylan Ives), Derek Comartin (Stephanie Imeson) and proud Mémé Lucy to her great-grandchildren, Morgan Rose Quesnel and Nolan James Munn. Heartfelt thanks to her dear friend, Collette Little, for her unconditional love and support she gave to Lucille. Predeceased by parents Osiase and Rose Damphouse (née Pillon). Dear sister of Bernadette (late Sylvio) Trepanier, late Raymond (late Marguerite) Damphouse, and Irene (Bernard) Barrette. Daughter-in-law of the late Ernest and Monique (née Gagnon). Sister-in-law of the late Leo (late Rena) Comartin, late Edward Comartin, Bernice (Donald) Robert, late Annette (surviving husband Donat) Lebert, Marcel (late Juliette) Comartin, Therese (Edward) Glasier, and Gerald (Geraldine) Comartin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be specially missed by her K-nine companion Willy. Lucille had many talents from working in a flower shop, hardware store and a lifetime of farming by her husband's side. She had a true passion for canning, playing cards Friday nights at Le Club d'Age d'Or le Foyer and an unconditional love for her family. She touched many lives and attracted many people from her kind, loving and nurturing manner. Family and friends will be received at Visitation Parish Church, 5407 Comber Side Road, Comber on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday September 16, 2019, from 9- 9:45 a.m. with Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Annunciation Cemetery, Stoney Point.
