Obituary of Claudette Marie Bibeau

BIBEAU, Claudette (née Piquette)

Born 04-08-1939, God called her home on 18-02-2019 with her family by her side, she is continuing on her spiritual journey. She is survived by her husband Roger Bibeau with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. She is survived by her children Lise Stevens, André (Anne) Bibeau, Pauline (Gilbert) Hébert, Aline (Joe) Béasse. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Natalie, Matthew, Roger, Danielle, Carole, Mélanie, Pierre, Christian, Jessica and Cory. As well as her great grandchildren, Jolene, Lilianne, É́lise, Joshua, Madison, Katarina, Noah, Cohen and Raelyn. Daughter of the late Wilfrid and Adélina Piquette of Sturgeon Falls. Raised by the late René and Blanche Quenneville. Predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by brother Louis Piquette and sister Imelda Lehoux. Step-sister of René (2005) Quenneville, Denis (Jody) Quenneville, Romuald (Diana) Laurent (2008) and Marc (2015). She also leaves behind many niece’s and nephews. She was an active member of La Société Franco-Ontarienne D’histoire & Généalogie, Club de L’âge D’or le Foyer Pointe aux Roches. Membre Fondateur de l’église St. Jérôme Windsor & Le Club Alouette. A special thank you to the staff at Heron Terrace (Shallow lane) for your compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor, Ontario would greatly be appreciated. Family and friends will be received at Visitation Parish Church, Comber on Thursday, February 21 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and Friday, February 22 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  A private interment will be held at a later time.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
