Obituary of John Edison Turrill

TURRILL, John Edison 72 years, of Tilbury, born December 6, 1938, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Boloved husband of 51 years to Dorothy (Mailloux). Loving father of Kevin, David and wife Elizabeth, and Stephen. Dearly missed by Tanya Eagleson. Dearest grandfather to Sandra, Caleb, Zackery, Zander, step-grandchildren Damon and Nicole, great grandchildren Joshua and Ethan, and step great grandchildren Jacovian, JaKwan, Ahmad, Zoie, Isabella, and Kamron. Pedeceased by parents David Turrill (1963) and Dorothy (Leach) Turrill (2003), sister Joan Mocco (1994), and brother Ben (2001) and wife Doris (2008). Son-in-law of the late Walter (1989) and Laura (2007) Mailloux. Dear brother-in-law to Eileen and Rene Goodreau, Oscar Mailloux, Donald and Erma Mailloux. Dear nephew of Estelle Leach and the late John Leach (2010). Dearly missed by goddaughter Simone Reaume and many nieces and nephews. John was a retiree of GM Trim Windsor, and was also a barber for many years. He was also an avid antique car buff. His pride and joy was his 1948 Packard Deluxe. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service at the funeral home Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
