Obituary of William Patrick McCarrell

Entered into his heavenly home at University Hospital in London on June 15, 2018 at the age of 70. He will be deeply missed by loving wife Rebecca (Scherle) for 43 years. Cherished father to Jessica McCarrell (late Jeff Prince, 2011), Kaitlin McCarrell (Andrew Lally) and predeceased by his 7 sons. Proud papa to Destinee, Trinity, Devan, Patrick, Penny, Abbey and Kendall. Predeceased by his parents William and Edna (Brusseau) McCarrell. Dearest brother to Colleen (late John) Chevalier, late Ruth (late George) Campbell, Ron (late Dorothy) Barnier, Patricia (Larry) Groat, Joanne (Jack) Berg. Loved son-in-law of the late Carl and late Jean (Almas) Scherle. Missed by in-laws Bob & Cathy Scherle, Carla & Wilson Thompson and David & Diane Scherle.  Special brother of David Campbell, late Mike Campbell, Tim Campbell and Greg Campbell. Best buddies of Joseph Deziel, Tim Ball and Don Graham. He will be missed by his 2 furry friends Bella and Stella. Buz was an avid musician, he enjoyed listening to baseball, playing golf, fishing, camping with his family, watching sci-fi movies and watching sports while sipping on a cold one. Buz was a U.S. Vietnam Veteran and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #2356. He absolutely adored spending time with his family, his grandchildren and his dogs. He will be dearly missed forever by all his extensive family and friends. Visitation will be at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. West, Tilbury, Monday, June 18 2018, 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday, June 19 2018, 2-5 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. K of C prayers at 8:00 p.m. Mass of resurrection at St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury, on Wednesday, June 20 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Brentwood Recovery Home or Trinity’s Education Fund appreciated.
