Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Chatham-Kent Hospice on May 28, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Loving wife to Andre Thelland. Devoted mother to Helen Duquette, Robert (LuAnn) Bellemore, Yvonne (Jeff) Vallee. Cherished grandmother of Ian (Michelle) Duquette, Kayla (Dave) Pinsonneault, Eric Gagnier, Nicole Bellemore, Kyle Bellemore, Natalie Vallee and Curtis (Holly) Vallee. Proud grandmother of her great grandchildren Lukas and Lauryn Duquette and Lyv and Tye Pinsonneault. Daughter of the late Arthur and Leah (Quenneville) Pillon. Sister of Edmond (Corinne) Pillon, late Rene (surviving Judy) Pillon, late Remie (surviving Donna), late Albert (surviving Claudette), Gerald (Iris) Pillon, Alphonse (Yvonne) Pillon, Bernadette (Jerry) Bachmier and Annette (Wayne) Bisson-Cross. Irene was the owner of Village Crafts in Tilbury for many years and was an avid and passionate quilter and sewer. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be welcomed at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St West, Tilbury on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2-5 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 a.m on Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Tilbury.
