VICKERD, Lena (nee Blain) 87 years, of the Sun Parlor Home, Leamington, formerly of Tilbury, passed away on Friday July 22, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Vickerd (1991). Loving mother of Douglas & Suzanne Vickerd of Courtney, BC and Judith & Gerry Holmes of Kingsville. Cherished gramma of Douglas Jr. Vickerd, Gregory Vickerd, both of Alberta, Leslie Holmes of Windsor, Andrew Holmes of Rockwood and Lindsay Holmes of Trenton. Dear great-gramma of Michael, Jocelyn, Kyle, Tyler, Natasha, Dylan, and Quenton and great-great-gramma of Landon. Predeceased by parents Arthur (1970) and Rosalda (1963) Blain; brothers Leo (1972), Norman (2011), Hector (2008), and infant sister Alice (1921). Survived by sisters-in-law Orise and Alice. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Monday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. C.W.L. prayers Monday at 2:00 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury, for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
