I was the manager of Beaver Lumber Essex in 1975 when Clarence was in Windsor. We became good friends. The list of ways he helped me in business not only when at Beaver, but with other employers thereafter would be too long to list. Sadden at his passing, just a great wonderful guy !

Gerald, Lori, Robert, Sandra and Kimberly and your families: I am sadden to hear of the passing of your Dad, my husband Bob, of course worked for your Dad as his ass't mgr, till he got his own store! Bob respected Clarence a great deal and felt he was his mentor! I called Lori when I heard of his stroke and also when Bob passed away. Hopefully, they both are talking "shop" now as that truly gives me great comfort. I know maybe Mom has even prepared a chicken and dumpling dinner! So on behalf of my children, Jamie and Vicki and their families and myself we extend are deepest condolences to all of you!! Rest in peace Clarence..... Chris Drysdale
