My thoughts are with you Chris, Pam and Dayle. I have many memories of my aunt while growing up. I remember your mom as a woman who took on many things, from Square Dancing, knitting to selling Mary Kay! I remember her trying to teach me to knit. When I look back I always get a chuckle. We were both getting so frustrated, and I felt stupid that it was so difficult to grasp such a simple thing. I was probably around 10 or 11 at the time. Finally, we both stopped and I said "Maybe it's because I'm left handed". Aunt Phyllis looked at me and said "You're left handed? Well no wonder I can't teach you." It gave us both a feeling of satisfaction I think that neither of us was to blame for my inability to knit. She was a strong woman your mom, but also giving. God bless her.
