So sorry to read of Art's passing. My sincere condolences to your family. I met Art a lot of years ago, and most recently would see him when he came into Mac's to buy his couple of scratch tickets now and then. Nice man.

I am very sad to hear about this. I did not know him well. I only met him through my brother in law, but, he learned that I was taking some sign language and he was lovely to try to teach me more. I wasn't very good at it but I could finger spell well enough and enjoyed chatting with him. He was always smiling and had such a positive happiness about him. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to you all. The world has lost a lovely spirit.

I met Art when he worked at Community Web Printing while i was there. He taught me to sign "how are you" and "fine, thank you" and i still remember them; I had known he uncles from when i worked at the Comber Co-Op and they would come in every Friday night while their parents were getting groceries across the street......very nice families.....but you had to watch those two........they were "slight of hand" artists. At the end of a transaction you had better double check your transactions.........while they stood there laughing at us because they had done it again. I'll always remember you Carmen, Doug and Art.

Well, I'm really going to miss my cousin Art. I always tried to see him when I was home - the last time was at Mom's party and I'm grateful I got one more "bear" hug and a kiss to go with it. A few years ago Art asked for my cell number, and then we kept in touch texting back and forth. I loved the connection and will truly miss that. Rest in peace cousin Art, I love you lots!
