Margaret, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She certainly lived a long, full life. You and your sisters made it possible for her to spend the last years in the comfort of her own home, and I commend you for that. She will be missed.

My Mother, Helen Croft, a teacher in Comber in the 30's, boarded with the Bowers. For all the years later, my Mom would always visit Kathryn whenever she visited Comber. It was a top priority. We, her children, picked up on the tradition and would visit too, after our Mom passed away. In our visits, it was easy to see how our Mother loved Kathryn so much. A visit was always filled with warmth, laughter and stories. Our paths in life cross the paths of many people but some of those paths are rerouted to cross over and over again. The biggest compliment is that many of those path are continually purposefully rerouted. I am sure that our paths with Carol, Margaret and Mary Anne will continue that tradition. All of this is a result of a very close and warm relationship that started some 80 years ago.

Th the Bower family, So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I well remember her. She was a nice lady. Carol was our babysitter when we were growing up. My sister, Judy, used to play with Margaret, I think they were in CGIT together too. Judy broke her arm when she fell off a shed roof behind the Bower house! Your mom lived to be a grand old age! And was still living in her home? WOW! Please know I am thinking about your family, In sympathy, Jane
