Obituary of Herman Armand Joseph Rose

ROSE, Herman 86 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Beloved husband of Jeannette (Labadie). Loving father of Leonard Rose, Robert “Bob” (Stephanie) Rose, and Linda Rose. Dearest grandfather of Stephen (Adeline) Rose, Brayden and Shekira Rose, Jason, Michael, and Taylor Shelton, and great grandson Wyatt Labonte. Predeceased by parents Wilfrid and Ida (Charron) Rose. Dear brother of Clara Jelovic, Harvey (Doreen) Rose, and the late Cécilia Béchard, Verna Sylvain, Lorraine Cartier, Evelyn Demers, Laurette Richie, Raymond Rose and Peter Rose. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Herman was an avid sportsman in his earlier years; hockey referee, baseball umpire, bowler, and golfer. He retired from Rockwell International after 29 years of service. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Knights of Columbus prayers 8:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral service from the funeral home Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10 a.m., then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
