I remember spending a summer in Tilbury when I was 16. I was supposed to work the summer in the cornfields to earn some money. The entire crew lasted exactly 3 days - the work was hot and exhausting - and we were all fired. In any case, Uncle George covered for me and said I were working. I spent the summer smoking cigarettes, loafing around and eating the best barbeque in Canada. Uncle George was a soft touch - if he liked you - and always good for a buck or two and he kept me in pocket money. I'll always be grateful for that summer. Rest in peace Uncle George.
