RIVARD, Donald “Don” 75 years, of Tilbury, born March 6, 1935, passed away quietly surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Tilbury Manor. Beloved husband of 56 years to Jean (Sparks). Loving father of Dan and Terri Rivard, Dale and Michelle Rivard. Cherished grandfather of Sarah Braithwaite and Joe Ruggeri, Scott Rivard and fiancée Cassie Jean, Christopher Rivard, Nicholas Rivard, and great granddaughter Emma Braithwaite. Predeceased by parents Paul and Philomene (St. Denis) Rivard. Loving brother of Pearl Perry, Beatrice Moore, Edgar and Lucille Rivard, and the late Alfred Rivard (1961), Frank Rivard (1976), Eveline Rivard (1925), Medore Rivard (1917), Rose Barnier (1994), Clifford Rivard (2002), Raymond Rivard (2005), and Marie Sherrah (2010). Dear brother-in-law of Ora, Alvina, and Beulah Rivard, and Mary Jane and Ray Deschamps. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service from the funeral home Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10 a.m., then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment service at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at a later date.
