Obituary of Alexandre Pierre Paul Rivard

RIVARD, Alex 81 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully after a brief, but tough struggle with pancreatic cancer, on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Maple City Retirement Residence. Beloved husband of the late Mary (née Tulen) (2012). Loving father of Janine (Andrew) Morris, Julianne Rivard (Claude Duckett), and Steven (Cathy) Rivard. Cherished grandfather of Sebastien, Nolan, Caden, Carter, Cole, and Conner. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Lena (Robert) Rivard. Dearest brother of the late Leah and late husband Claude Lalonde, the late Margaret and late husband Edgar Quenneville, Felix Rivard and wife Monique, Fr. Louis Rivard, and the late Wilfred Rivard and surviving wife Angeline. Dear son-in-law of the late Peter and Irma (Piron) Tulen. Dear brother-in-law of John (Germaine) Tulen, Yvonne (late husband Tony) Tetreault, Jack (Adeline) Tulen, Jim (Lise) Tulen, Betty-Ann (Ken) Michie. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service from the funeral home on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 10 a.m., then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
