Obituary of Anna Irene Chaput

CHAPUT, Anna Irene (née Damphousse) 87 years, of RR 2, Comber, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Adelord Chaput (2009). She will be sadly missed by her three children; Ernest (Bev) Chaput of Tilbury, Diane Gardiner of Merlin, Robert (Rosemary) of Tilbury; and her sister Theresa (Joe(2005)) Laliberte; and sister-in-law Rita (Don) Pare of Tilbury. She will be greatly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Hermidas and Marie Louise (nee Roi) Damphousse-Bellemore; brothers Louis (Hazel) Damphouse, Vincent Damphousse; son-in-law Wayne Gardiner (1985); and daughter-in-law Diane Chaput (2008). Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Anna was blessed with many generations of friends and neighbours and she will be remembered for her gentle kindness. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral service at the funeral home Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
