Obituary of Elva Leota Tilson

TILSON, Elva (Musgrove) 93 years, of Kingsville, formerly of Windsor and Staples, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John Edward (Ed) Tilson (2006) for over 65 years. Loving mother of Howard Tilson and wife Eleanor of Tecumseh, Marlyn and husband Fred Drouillard of Lynden, Lee and husband John Knott of Kingsville. Proud grandmother of Karen, Jeff, Michael and fiancée Allison, James, Mike and wife Mary, Lisa, and great grandmother of four. Predeceased by her parents Burt and Leota (Coffey) Musgrove. Dear sister of Jean and husband Jim Mayer, and the late Helen Haggins, Buck Musgrove, Maisie Myles, and Dorothy Barclay. Dear sister-in-law of Grace Getty, Royce Tilson and fiancée Lynne Wollison. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Elva was a long-time member of the former Maple Grove United Church, and a member of Comber Good Luck Rebekah Lodge #297 for over 60 years. Visitation at Paul Reaume Funeral Home, Comber from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Rebekah service 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service at the funeral home Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Sue Anderson officiating. Interment at McDowell Cemetery, Comber.
