Obituary of Joseph Augusto Cabral

CABRAL, Joseph Agusto 83 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 24, 2013. Born on January 21, 1930 to his late parents Jose Augusto Cabral and Maria Flores Teadora Cabral in Norte Grande, Sao Jorge, Azores. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Susan (nee Postma) Cabral of 55 years. Joe was a devoted father and no words can express how deeply he will be missed by Joey (Joanne) Cabral, Marg (John) Riegling, Mike (Wendy) Cabral, Lucy (Kelly) Voskamp, Kate (Paul) McKeand, and Dave (Cindy) Cabral. Proud Papa to 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Helena Van Dongen, Otilia Morais, Judy (Paulo) Bettencourt, and Manuel (Shirley) Cabral. Predeceased by two brothers Moises and Mac Cabral and one sister Maria Luiz. Also survived by brothers and sisters in law; John (Trudy) Postma, George (Sadie) Postma, Hank (Joan) Postma, and Alberdina Postma. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers Thursday at 8:00 p.m. Msgr. A.J. Memorial donations to Right to Life Kent or Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
