Herman, Gilbert “Gib” 81 years, of Tilbury, passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Beloved husband of Shirley (Dawson). Loving father of Tami and her husband Vance Verleye. Cherished grandfather of Jessie and Gregery. Predeceased by parents Rene Herman (1971) and Bertha (Notschell) Herman (1973). Dearest brother of Robert (Alice 2002) Herman, Remi Herman (Jean), and Fred (Pat) Herman. Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Lanoue, Helen 1996 (Leonard) Tourangeau, Betty (Art) Zittlau, Ron (JoAnne) Dawson, and Ken (Corrie) Dawson. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, and special friends Mark and Tammy Drew and family. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral service from the funeral home Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10 a.m., then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
