Obituary of Corinne Elizabeth Van Den Driessche

VAN DEN DRIESSCHE, Corinne (Lajoie) Died peacefully at Tilbury Manor, at the age of 81, on February 9, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Louis Van Den Driessche (2008). Loving mother of Linda (2010) & Guy Mailloux, Bernadette & Michael Mullins, Ken Van Den Driessche (1994) and Julie & Jim. Adored by eight grandchildren Matthew & Nicole, Aline & Pierre, Lianne & Cameron, Eric & Sherry, Justin & Fahima, Jason & Lana, Lisa, and Brandon. Special great-grandma to twelve great-grandchildren Dominique, Amélie and Valérie, Ezekiel, Jacob and Lukas, Silas and Myles, Miranda and Alyssa, Kenny and Jillian. Corinne is predeceased by her parents Walter (1939) and Bernadette (1987) Lajoie. Dearly loved sister of Madeleine (2011) & Phonse (1999) Mailloux, Julie & Chuck (1982) Dunn, Raymond Lajoie (1983) & Laurencia, Edmond Lajoie (1977) and Anna & Gérard Pinsonneault (2008), and Yvonne Lajoie. Dearly loved sister-in-law of Julius Van Den Driessche (2000) & Reta, Bernice Chevalier & Lawrence (1992), Art & Louise Van Den Driessche, Bernida & Reg Chevalier, Remi & Diane Van Den Driessche, and Pat & Gloria Van Den Driessche. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Corinne was a faithful member of the C.W.L. for 58 years. Visitation at Paul Reaume Funeral Home, Comber on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Funeral service from the funeral home on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10.00 a.m., then to Visitation Church, Comber for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Robert Champagne celebrant. Interment at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Comber. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society – Essex County Unit.
