Obituary of Anne Garbutt

GARBUTT, Anne (Wieringa) 86 years, of Jeannette’s Creek, passed away at Tilbury Manor on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Fred Garbutt (2011). Loving mother of Elaine Gagnon of Jeannette’s Creek, Dianne Thibodeau of Tilbury, Roy Garbutt and wife Jane of Jeannette’s Creek. Dearest grandmother of Joe Thibodeau, Michelle Gagnon, Cole Garbutt, Marc Gagnon (1999), 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandson. Predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy (Aalders) Wieringa. Dear sister of the late George (surviving wife Mary) Wieringa of Chatham, Kip (Ann) Wieringa of Chatham, the late John (Celeste) Wieringa, the late Dena (Roy) Stewart, Kathryn (Doug) Day of Chatham, Gary (Jeannie) Wieringa of Amherstburg. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Anne was a lifelong resident and farmer in Jeannette’s Creek and proprietor of Garbutt’s Vegetables. In accordance with Anne’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Reaume Funeral Home, Tilbury. Memorial donations to Gene Goodreau Patient Assistance Fund appreciated.
