Obituary of Dorothy Storey

STOREY, Dorothy Matilda (nee Satchel) A wonderful caring lady passed away Monday, January 17, 2011, at Tilbury Manor Nursing Home, at the age of 89. Loving mother of Ann Storey, Janet (late Terry) Taylor, Greg (Deb) Storey, Rebecca Storey, and Kenneth (late Brenda) Storey. Most cherished grandma of Robert, Sherry, Christopher, Scott, Dylan, Jennifer, Skylar, Ronald, Donald, Tara, Ryan, Sara, and Shellie. Treasured great-grandma of Dustin, Michael, Jordan, Porsché, Emily, Kody, Madison, Emilee, Melody, Kira, Avery, Riley, Haley, Alexandra, Scotty, Alysta, Kynnam, and Alyssa. Dearest daughter of the late Alfred and Violet (nee Siddel) Satchel. Dear sister to the late Edward (late Peggy) Satchel, late Beverley Satchel, and Lloyd (late Norma) Satchel of Wallaceburg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy worked for Public General Hospital for many years in housekeeping. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal Street West, Tilbury on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dale Nevelizer officiating. If desired donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A special thank you to all the wonderful, caring staff at Tilbury Manor. Your kindness and care for our mother will never be forgotten. She loved everyone and called it her home.
