Obituary of Leonard Daniel Lachapelle

LACHAPELLE, Leonard 84 years, of Tilbury, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 31, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Stella (Desmarais). Loving father of Roger (Elaine) Lachapelle of Belle River, Shirley (Edgar) Aubin of Belle River, and Elaine (Jessie) Hogan of California. Dearest grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Jerome and Marie (Delaurier) Lachapelle. Dear brother of the late Eleanor (late husband Lloyd) Johnson, the late Bernice (late husband Robert) Trepanier, the late Jerome Lachapelle, Anna Mae (late husband Jean) Coté of Windsor. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Leonard was the owner of Lachapelle Sanitation. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 7-9 p.m. Monday, and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral service at the funeral home Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Colin Swan officiating. Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Tilbury.
