Obituary of Blaise Rosaire Joseph Mailloux

MAILLOUX, Blaise

of Stoney Point, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Chatham-Kent Hospice on September 12, 2024.  Loving husband of Juliette (nee Janisse) for 66 blessed years.  Son of the late Albert and Parmelia (nee Laporte) Mailloux.  Loving father of Marie (Dan), late Jean (2023), Albert Mailloux, Elaine Benoit, Paul, and Jules (Dana).  Greatly missed by his 9 grandchildren Johhny, Amanda, Blaise Jr., Eric, Albert Jr., Kayla, Danielle, Alexandra and Timothy.  "Pépé the Great" to his 7 great grandchildren Emily, Jacylne, Ava Maria, Zachary, Grace, Anakin, and Lucie.  Predeceased by his siblings Adelard, Raymond (Geraldine), Jeannette (George Allard, 1972)(Robert Leboeuf, 2015), René (surviving wife Helen), Rena (Léo) Comartin, Richard (Anita), and Edgar (surviving wife Alice).  Blaise will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Visitation Parish Church in Comber on Friday, September 20, 2024 with visitation from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. There will be Knights of Coloumbus prayers to be held at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Visitation Parish Building Fund or Chatham-Kent Hospice would be appreciated.   Heartfelt thanks to our family, Dr. Jean Marc Beausoleil, Paramed, and St. Elizabeth Health Care for your care and compassion.
