Greg, Neil and Family
I was thinking of Mrs.M just today as I was packing up this picture that has sat on my bookshelf for years! I thought I would google and was so sad to read of her passing and that I missed her funeral. My best childhood memories are of Mr and Mrs M...out trip to Winnipeg where Mr M would pile all us kids in the back of his truck and take us to the dump every night to watch the back bears...and Mrs M always looking after us when Mom and Dad were out...cooking for Dad and I all those years when Mom was sick...and the 4 of them spending New Years Eve together every year. I have so many precious memories of them. I am so sorry for your loss. I will pass the information into my siblings as we all loved Mrs.M.
My sincere condolences

Dear Neil & Greg,
I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your families.
Your Mom was a wonderful person who touched the lives of many.
Both your parents were kind and generous to me during the 2 years I lived with them.
They treated me like a daughter for which I was very grateful.
As the years passed, we reconnected and I enjoyed the visits I had with her.
Sincerely,
Karen Butler

I so very much wish I could be there in person. I have looked at it from every direction, but cannot find a way to make it happen. These are the times I wished we lived closer. Please know (although I think you already know) that my Aunt Doreen had a special place in my heart. I loved her trips out west, especially after the loss of both Mom and Dad.
I let our boys know and their comments were, “I loved her honesty” and “she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind”. I think that summed it up nicely. I would add these adjectives, “fiery, spitfire, firecracker (did you notice they all had fire in them?), feisty, plucky, protective, go getter!!!!
She was alway there, if you ever needed anything, no matter what!!!
I think that was a part of the Murray DNA. And now that chapter of the Leo and Lil Murray book is completed. May she be reunited with them, along with her beloved, our Uncle Gerard, Michael and Beth.
From the entire Kirnbauer Family, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.
I will miss her.
All our Love
Karl and Karen
