Obituary of Terry Mark Cowan

COWAN, Terry

Born December 22, 1961 and passed away on April 27, 2024.  Son of the late Miles and Margaret (nee Gardiner) Cowan.  Married to Yvette (Gagnier) February 11, 2006.  Loving father of Alex and Kelly and step-father to Jesse (Sarah) and Ryan (Kim).  Step-grandpa of Alex (Cadance), Aiden, and Joshua.  Step-great-grandpa to Aurora.  Brother of the late Bonnie Andkilde, late Randy (surviving Johanne) Cowan, and Brenda (Michel) Gagnier.  Son-in-law of Roger (late Carol) Gagnier.  Brother-in-law to Kathy (Wilfred) VanZelst and Monique (Derrick) Manery.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Terry worked as a skilled mechanic his entire adult life.  He owned Terry's Auto shop in Tilbury for many years and most recently worked for Cottingham Tire.  In his spare time he enjoyed camping, fishing and boating.  Gardening became his favorite hobby in the last 10 years.  His backyard and backroom were filled with plants that he cared for and Yvette canned.  He was looking forward to spring planting and was already prepping his garden.

Cremation has taken place.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10-12 noon.  Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with interment at Stewart Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice appreciated
