Obituary of Thomas William Duain Innes
INNES, Thomas William Duain
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Thomas William Duain, as the result of a heart condition, on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the age of 33.
Precious son of John and Elizabeth (Liz) (Imeson) Innes and adored brother of JJ (John James). Beloved fiance of Jen Siemens. Future son-in-law of Pete and Tina Siemens, and their son Adam. Special grandson of the late Duain and Marian (Taylor) Imeson and William and Ruth (Leight) Innes. Thomas will be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Thomas was well known for his amazing athletic ability, excelling in hockey, having played for the Chatham Maroons and the Blenheim Blades. He was also on several ball hockey teams in Chatham, London, and Barrie. Thomas lit up a room with his presence and quick wit, and was very present to family and friends in wonderful moments and in times of need. Thomas was an "old soul", very caring and respectful no matter what the situation.
