Obituary of Irene Julie Duquette

DUQUETTE, Irene

94 years, of Chatham , formerly of Tilbury, passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on March 12th, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Ernest Duquette (1960) and Emma (Regnier) Duquette (1979). Dear sister of Alfred (1997) and Evilda (1981) Duquette, Jeanne (2013) and Aurillien (Boy) Parent (2007),  Eva (2008) and Edgar (2000) Thibeault, Alice (2008) and Alfred (1987) Lansue, Leon (2000) and Margaret (2010) Duquette. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Irene Duquette was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Women's League, Society of Canada, Big Sisters' Association, Right to Life Kent, and the Active Life Style Center. She received the Government of Canada International Volunteer Award in December 2001, and the Government of Ontario Volunteer Award in 2009. 

Visitation at St. Francis Xavier Church Tilbury, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with Memorial Mass to commence at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Right to Life Kent, Chatham-Kent Women's Centre or St. Francis Xavier Church Building Fund.
