Obituary of Brian Carl Faubert

FAUBERT, Brian Carl

July 13, 1949 – March 5, 2024

Brian passed away at C.K.H.A. on March 5, 2024 at the age of 74 after suffering a stroke. He was born in Chatham and lived in Tilbury East Township most of his life.  Survived by his loving wife Dale Diane (nee Wadsworth) whom he married 54 years ago on July 26, 1969.  He is predeceased by his parents, David “Carl” Faubert (2000) and Annie Emily (nee Garlick) (2021).  Survived by his brothers, William “Bill” Faubert (Margaret) of Lighthouse Cove;  Robert “Bob” Faubert (Irene) of Wellesley and one sister, Sharron Skipper (Michael) (2017) of Fletcher.  He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Brian was a former employee of Siemans (formerly Fram); was the owner and operator of a backhoe business working for CP Rail as well as having a drain cleaning business for many years working in various areas of Chatham-Kent.  In 2000 he battled and survived a malignant brain tumor.  Brian will be remembered for his courage and humor in the face of impossible odds and in death, for being a tissue donor.  A special thank you to the staff of 4th floor Medical and 3rd floor Palliative Care for their great care and kindness.  At Brian’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Cremation has taken place.  There will be a Celebration of Life at The SCOT (former Knights of Columbus Hall), 20 Dupuis St., Tilbury on Saturday, March 16th from  11:30 A.M to 2:30 P.M.  A private interment of cremated remains will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Tilbury.  In lieu of flowers donations to Chatham-Kent Health Foundation Cardiac Care Unit or a local charity of choice would be appreciated.
