BARIDA, Gerald "Jerry"

73 years, of Tilbury, passed away at home, with his family, and his beloved dog Louie, by his side on Wednesday October 18, 2023.  Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Yandell) for 52 years.  Loving father of Lisa Corrigan, Jennifer Slocum, and Michelle Tetreault.  Devoted grandpa to Vanessa, Olivia, Cameron, Drew, Zoey, Aryn, Samuel, Elaina and great-grandpa to Myah, Jackson, and Carter.  Dear brother of Alice McIntyre and Tom Barida.  Also missed by in-laws, nieces and nephews.  Jerry was a Police officer for the Tilbury Police Department for many years.   He enjoyed his retirement with the love of his life in Punta Gorda, Florida.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Private Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation  - Emergency Department appreciated https://www.classy.org/give/214048/#!/donation/checkout.  Special thanks to Dr. Denys and the Emergency staff at CKHA for their care and compassion.
