FLEURY, Paul Harry Joseph

March 4, 1937 - September 26, 2023

86 years of Tilbury passed away peacefully surrounded by his family September 26, 2023.  Beloved husband of Mary (Jacobs) for 63 years. Loving father of Richard and Monique, Heather and Rob. Devoted and cherished grandpa to Brandon & Janelle, Cameron & Lindsey, Aaron and Chantal, Robyn & Liam , Jared & Mackenzie and Danielle. Great grandpa to Hailey, Grayson, Hannah, Laena, Calvin, Ava and Brody.  Dear brother of the late Dorothy Alexander, late Victor, late Gilbert (Jeannette)(late Bernadine), late Howard (Carol), late Robert, late Noe (late Dorinda), late Helen (Richard Reaume) late Doreen (late George Rempel), Adelore (Annette), Edgar, Isidore (Linda), Clifford.  Survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews, friends and Timmies morning coffee social circle who loved and will miss him dearly.

Paul was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 47 years, where he celebrated his sobriety one day at a time and was always willing to lend a listening ear and a helping hand to those in need. He was instrumental in the development of the Tilbury North Side Memorial Park, which had great meaning to him.  He was very social man who enjoyed people and making them smile, especially his Tim Horton’s social circle, where he spent time every day telling them about his grandchildren.  Paul was a very positive man, who despite his illnesses with cancer, lived every single day with a positive outlook on life.

A funeral visitation will be held at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal Street West, Tilbury on September 28, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  A Funeral Service will be held at the Wheatley United Church, 59 Talbot Rd W, Wheatley on September 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, 20900 Morris Rd, Tilbury.
