Obituary of Edward Denis Campeau

Campeau, Edward Denis, 11-22-1944 ~ 08-28-2023

Passed away on Monday August 28, 2023 at Riverview Gardens, formerly of Tilbury, in his 78th year, son of the late Alec and Shirley Campeau (née Wilson) (Montbleau) cherished husband of late Claire Campeau, beloved father of Daniel (Robin) and late Duane Campeau both of Windsor, much loved step father to Chris (Jen) ,Allen (Lori) and Darren Laforet all of Chatham. Survived by siblings Gale Cassidy (late Eric), George Campeau (late Carol), Raymond Campeau (Brenda), Margaret (Gilbert) Tremblay and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Carol Koke and brother in-law Ed Koke. Ed was a proud member of Unifor #444 having retired after 37 years with the Chrysler Corporation in Windsor Ontario. He loved the outdoors and spent a great deal of his time hunting in Michigan at his cottage or fishing on lake St. Clair. He was past president of the Legion Branch #206 Tilbury. As per Ed's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service with interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery will be held at a later date.
