Obituary of Dorothy Natalie Hooft

HOOFT, DOROTHY N. (Nee DeVogelaere) Reunited with her beloved husband Helaire (1985) on June 25, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Loving mother of Ed (Terri) Hooft, Gerry (Kris) Hooft, Carol Ann (Randy) Holland. Dearest grandmother of Ryan (Leah) Hooft, Lisa (Clyde) Holmes, Chantal and Kyle Holland, Alexandra Hooft, and great granddaughter Ava Holmes. Dear sister of the late George DeVogelaere (1952) (Mary and Joe Sevigny), Laurette (Jerry) Ivan, the late Albert DeVogelaere (2011) (surviving wife Flo). Dear sister-in-law of Jim and Pat Hooft. She is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and by her many cousins in Canada and Belgium. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Women’s League and Tilbury K-Cettes. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday. C.W.L. prayers and K-Cettes prayers 2 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers 4:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral service from the funeral home Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
