Obituary of William David Cedar

CEDAR, William “Willie” 79 years, of Tilbury, passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Jeannette (Leveille) (2006). Loving father of Bernice (Jesse) Gagnon, William “Billy” Cedar, Donald Cedar, George Cedar (Pam Hornick), Carol Cedar, and the late Kenneth Cedar (1963). Dearest grandfather of Krystal Gagnon (Rob Guilbeault), Adam Cedar, step grandchildren Donald and Dylan Hornick, Robert Blanchette, and great grandchildren Kaleb and Lyla Guilbeault. Predeceased by parents Theodore and Alice (McLean) Cedar, and brothers and sisters Genevieve (Bob) Klingbile, Norman (Norma) Cedar, Doris (Gilbert) Jones, Benjamin, Johnny, Theodore Jr., Della, Geraldine, and Rebecca Cedar. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Willie was a proprietor of T&C/Cedar Auto Wreckers, Tilbury Taxi, and one of the veteran drivers of the Tilbury Race Track “Upside Down Willie”. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Funeral service at the funeral home Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury. Memorial donations to charity of choice appreciated.
