I’ve known Joy for a lot of years. Her and Norm use to come in to J&D Bowling for breakfast every Sunday so Manon and I could tease them both. I worked with Norm at Hunts in Tilbury . They were such a sweet couple. Joy kept coming for breakfast until she went into Hudson Manor where I’m sure she kept them on their toes with all her jokes and stories. She’s now joined with the love of her life. She will be missed by so manny friends and family. RIP Joy

Joy will be remembered dearly by our family. A caring dedicated teacher, community member and influenced so many by her quiet and selfless approach. She was one of my most favourite public school teachers (and kept me in at recess to work on my math). Like her name, a joy she brought to many.

Carolyn and Gord I’m sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I live just next door to Hudson Manor and when my Mom was a resident there I had many occasions to speak with Joy and of course to congratulate her when she turned 100. She was a very nice lady and I very much enjoyed our conversations. I was surprised when told she was turning 100 because she certainly seemed much younger. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
