Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Copley

COPLEY, Betty Anne (Burton),

Died peacefully on October 17, 2022 at the age of 75 in Chatham, Ontario.  Dearly missed mother to Allan Copley, Brian Copley (Charlene), Sandra Coatsworth (Mark), Carrie Copley (Adam), and Mark Copley (Rhonda).  Sister to the late Rick Burton (Brenda) of St. Thomas, Tom Burton (Mary) of Tilbury, and Pat Recker (Virgil) of Wheatley.  Cherished grandmother of Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jamie-Lynne, Markus and McKenna. Special Nana to Tiffany, Jacoby, Isla and Vidar. Great-grandmother of Sophia. Betty will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Much gratitude and many thanks to the staff of Chatham Retirement Resort for always taking extra special care of Betty Anne and treating her like a VIP.  To the caregivers and staff of CKHA, a big thank you for the care and attention during her stay.  A private family gathering will take place at a later date, and she will be interred at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Tilbury.
Betty Anne loved animals, especially dogs, and was an annual supporter of the OSPCA/Humane Society. Donations to your local animal charity of choice, or public library are appreciated.
