Obituary of Jeannette Bicrel

BICREL, Jeannette (nee Diraison)

98 years, of Pointe-aux-Roches, passed away peacefully at CKHA on Friday, September 23, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late Michel Bicrel (2011).  Loving mother of Georges (Chantal) Bicrel, Mireille (Randy) Chevalier and the late Michelle Bicrel (1947).  Cherished mémé of Jennifer (Rod) Lemieux, Randy (Andrea) Chevalier, and Michael (Christine) Chevalier.  Devoted great-mémé Meghan, Colin, Cady, Brendan, Darby, Abigail, and Logan.  Survived by her sister Louisiane (Norm) Michiels.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Jeannette immigrated to Canada in 1952 and together with her husband Michel operated a successful farming operation.  She will be remembered for her overwhelming hospitality and her cooking.  Family and friends will be received at Visiation Parish Church, Comber on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Funeral Mass to commence at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Annunciation Cemetery, Pointe-aux-Roches.  Donations to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation https://www.classy.org/give/214048/#!/donation/checkout appreciated.
