Obituary of Edward Dupuis

DUPUIS, Edward 83 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully on Monday. December 27, 2010 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Survived by his loving wife Pearl Peltier (Riberdy) of 56 years. Sadly missed by children Ron (Joyce) Riberdy of Tilbury, Sandra (Tom) Lyons of Comber, Wayne (Shirley) Dupuis of Tilbury, Connie Hewitt of Tilbury, Nancy Mailloux of Tilbury, Rosemary (Bob) Chaput of Tilbury, and sister-in-law Joyce Dupuis of Stoney Point. Predeceased by parents Thomas (1961) and Pamela (Beaune) (1927), brother Thomas Jr. (1974), an infant sister, brother Wilfred (1998), stepson William Riberdy (1972) and grandson Brett Lyons (2007). Greatly missed by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Ed was an avid fisherman, baseball fan, card player and story teller. He was also a very proud member of the Royal Canadian Engineer Corp. United Nations Korean Peace Keeping Forces 1951-1954 and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Tilbury Branch #206. Ed was a retired engineer from Motor Wheel Corporation, Chatham. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W. Tilbury on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from noon until 1:30 p.m. Funeral service from the funeral home on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. then to St. Francis Xavier Church for funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
