Obituary of Stephanie Lee Imeson

IMESON, Stephanie Lee

It is with great sadness that the family of Stephanie Lee Imeson announce her sudden passing on August 30th, 2022 at the young age of 25, alongside her longtime boyfriend Derek Roger Comartin. 

Stephanie was born on July 11, 1997 and is the cherished daughter of Tracey Truax (Scott), loving sister of Steven Imeson and daughter to Ed Imeson.  Beloved granddaughter of Michael and Donna Jones and great-granddaughter of Joy and Charlie (2016) Simpson.  Special niece to Ron Truax, Janet Bishop (Neil) and Mike Jones (Stacey).  Loved cousin to Alyssa, Austin, Raelyn (2016), Kaylin, Kylie, Taylor, Jennifer and Julie.  She is predeceased by her great-grandparents Gilbert (1993) and Doris (2005) Jones, and Tom (2003) and Norma (2004) Imeson.

Our family was not expecting Stephanie's life to be cut so short, so soon.  She was born with a naturally sweet, kind and loving soul.  She had a beautiful smile that brought joy to everyone she met.  Stephanie and Derek shared a positive outlook on life that made it easy for them to love and care for one another to the fullest.  They extended their love to their 3 pigs Stella, Lilly and Wilbur and 2 dogs Emmy and Rue.  They loved the outdoors, nature, their friends and spending time together.  They were inseparable.

Family meant so much to Stephanie.  She loved spending time with her big brother, going on all his jam sessions, having family get-togethers, and most of all, spending time with her mom.  Her love for her family will be dearly missed, but the memories will be cherished forever.

Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Funeral service at Visitation Parish Church, 5407 Comber Sideroad, Comber on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow.  A private family interment will follow at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society, CK Animal Rescue or PAWS are appreciated.
