Doug and I were in the same installation class at Bell in the spring of 1966. I worked in Windsor and Doug worked in Leamington. Doug was always a good person and over the years, even though we worked in different departments at Bell, we would always stop and chat when we ran into each other. He didn't even complain when he heard me practicing bagpipes in a Bell building. I am very sorry to learn of his passing.
