Jane is pre-deceased by her husband Ronald Pelley; her parents Gorden and Eliza (nee Taverner) Budgell; sister Beatrice Peckford; brother in-law James Peckford; sister in-law Rosie Budgell; Step-daughter Kathy Cramm; son-in-law Kenneth Boone.
Jane, originally from Bishop's Fall NL, and her late husband Ronald raised their 9 children in the small town of Phillips Head, NL where many of them still reside today. Some of the fondest memories of her come from her Sunday dinners. She would put on the pot in hopes to draw a crowd and indeed she did.
Jane spent her final years living in Ontario with her daughter Shelley surrounded by the laughter of her Grandchildren, doing the things she loved, such as knitting and sewing. One of the highlights of the weeks were her phone calls home to speak with her other children. Although conversations were sometimes brief, she took comfort in knowing all was well at home.
In lieu of flowers, and as expressions of sympathy, online donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca). Online condolences can be shared at www.reaumefh.com.
