My sincerest condolences to the family.
Although most of my memories are from my childhood, I can always envision my mom & dad (her brother Ray & Aunt Pat) and Uncle Bert and Grandpa Girard sitting around the table playing cards and having the time of their lives.
They loved their canasta!! lol (at least I think thats what it was called lol)
It was a regular monthly ritual that they all seemed to have fun with and as kids we certainly looked forward to the get-togethers.
Those evenings were never without excitement and plenty of loud banter!!
Aunt Carol was always laughing and full of spunk and I will always cherish those memories of her and the family.
My visit with her after her kidney surgery is the last time I saw her and we had a very nice visit and conversation.
I'm sure that many of my memories will reflect back on that day and the time we had to reconnect and share.
Even though we did not see each other often, she will definitely be missed and my heart breaks for everyone in the family.
May you find peace & comfort in all your special moments you shared together over her lifetime.
And may you continue to celebrate her life in ways that pay tribute to the moments she touched your lives and left her love.
Will be forever missed by her living brother Raymond Girard (Pat)
And may she have a blast up in heaven reuniting with her brother Joe and her sister Cathy.
